Climate Focus Areas
Climate Focus Areas reflect key areas where County government is taking action (either through CAP programs or other County operations and programs) to reduce GHG emissions and help unincorporated Ventura County adapt to the adverse effects of climate change. Each Climate Focus Area has quantifiable activity metrics to show the status of how unincorporated Ventura County is doing in lowering GHG emissions, promoting renewable energy, and other climate adaptation actions. The activity metrics are separated by communitywide actions and county government operations. Click on a Climate Focus Area to learn more.
